It’s been awhile since I have done Sabbath properly. I am praying that I will be able to change things around so Honoring my Mother and Father does not interfere with keeping the First Commandment. Any way, Father Yahweh you know my heart and I ask that you lead me in my need to write this Sabbath. I ask this in Yahshua’s name…amen.
I am a bit confused Father, I know, You are not surprised (Did we get sarcasm from You or did that come from Satan? I digress where was I?) Oh yes… I read 1 Corinthians 11 which states that men should not cover their heads when they pray and should not have long hair. (Snerdfarkles! I love long hair on a man. * Heavy sigh* ) Women should cover their heads: 5And every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head—it is just as though her head were shaved. 6If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off; WAIT! “Woman… prophesies” I thought women were to be quiet or silent in church. Back up! I was looking at women should cover their heads when they pray. Wow, time to get out a bandana. Why did I never see that before? Why did I think as long as I had hair I was fine and that I just could not shave my head like Sinead O’Conner? I thought my head covering was Yahshua! So before a woman prays or does anything in the name of Yahshua we are to cover our head as well as be covered in the blood of Yahshua; praying in Yahshua’s, name for the only way to Yahweh is through his son. Which means you must be saved and believe that He died so who so ever believes will have everlasting life. I believe!!!! I still think I better grab a bandana or a cap.
Okay, I am back to remaining silent. I really would like to go to college and become a pastor or ordained minister. 1 Corinthians 14 (New International Version) 1 Timothy 2:9-20 (King James Version) These verses make it clear that being Eve was the one who broke the law and with the curse she took away women’s equality. I know that is a bitter pill to swallow. I am one of the bossiest women going and to have to remain silent, LOL ME? Be quiet??? Well, if I had a husband that believed and worshipped my God and Savior I would subject to him. My husband is Yahshua and I bow to Him. I teach those who leave an opening for a comment. If a man asks me a question I answer it, however if there was a man in authority present I would defer to him and remain silent, unless the man said something I did not agree with and then the Spirit would lead me to correct a wrong statement! I have done this when scripture was misquoted to make a non believer side with Satan. The man was not in authority! I don’t play that game. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world! Okay, women are not to preach. I have it Father. I submit.
My congregation would be looked at like they were part of a cult anyway!
Sabbath is Friday sunset to Saturday sunset. Read my other blogs! It should be a day of rest with NO work being done. No spending money. It is not a day of pleasure; it is a day of honor and worship. We are not to be honoring other gods. Those who went before us should never have compromised and blended Paganism with Christianity. Deuteronomy 12:32 (New International Version) 32 See that you do all I command you; do not add to it or take away from it. We wouldn’t participate in Christmas, Easter as the pagans do, Halloween or do birthdays. Women would not be allowed into “church” (a gathering of people who are there to pray, worship and learn about Father Yahweh and His bible.) with out head coverings.
Leviticus 19 Various Laws Yeah. I have several tattoos and want more. I like my steak medium rare… these are forbidden. I will glance at my horoscope if it is there to be seen and I have had readings done. I know that doing these things disrespect God. Reasoning to make the rule breaking is only serving Satan and lying. If we think God can not see the truth, we have blinders on! I claim The Blood of Yahshua. I also am not from Israel or am I Hebrew. Does that mean that being a Gentile the law does not apply to me? Can I say, and get away with it, that being Yahshua died for me that I am washed clean? As long as I believe I am saved, which I am, the rules and laws of the Non-Technology-Age those laws and covenants from the 12th and 2nd century that didn’t have the knowledge we have now…do the still apply? I trust my Tattoo Artist implicitly. Not only that, but some of the laws were rescinded.
Romans 14 4Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
5One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. 6He who regards one day as special, does so to the Lord. He who eats meat, eats to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains, does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. 7For none of us lives to himself alone and none of us dies to himself alone. 8If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
I am saved and my interpretation of the bible , and the place the Spirit has lead me to, has me honoring Sabbath as I do. I struggle with the Pagan Holidays. I believe Yahshua was born in October and the December celebration of putting up a tree and decorating it and then exchanging presents is not worship of any kind. Halloween is all about the candy and I do not honor the dead…I honor the adrenalin rush of being scared! I don’t do Easter Eggs or bunnies, Easter is the day Yahshua rose from his slumber. I honor that. The Thursday before Easter Sunday I honor the memory of what was to come with one hour dedicated to “Waiting” with Him. At least I try to. Who are you to judge someone else's servant? I believe that is Yahweh telling those who do not believe in Him not to judge His people, His servants. You have no idea what that person is really up to. Many think people who “DO” Halloween are serving Satan. I know I hate Satan and when I do Halloween it is because I want to make the little children happy. They come to our haunted house and get good treats all in fun. My heart belongs to Yahshua. He knows my heart and my thoughts and no where in there is Halloween considered evil. Now there are people out there who celebrate all Hallows Eve and there are those out there who are actually Satanist. I have yet to meet a practiced Wicca who looks at Halloween as a night to sacrifice a living soul! It is actually, in the practice of Wicca, their New Year. Sure there are a few witches who practice the dark arts, then again there are a few Christians who see nothing wrong with breaking al commandment here or there. We are not to judge others. Sure we are not to be unevenly yoked 2nd Corinthians 6:14 with non believers does not say we are allowed to be judgmental. Do unto others as you would have done unto you. Can you play the “If Game”?
Deuteronomy 12:32 (New International Version) 32 See that you do all I command you; do not add to it or take away from it.
To add Pagan holidays to Elohim’s days is like trying to have two dominant male head of house holds. To much power for one house and the people who live under that roof are going to be torn between the two. I believe Father Yahweh when He says not to put other gods before Him, He is a jealous God. He acknowledges that there are other gods. I believe not everyone is called to my God. I have theories on that. If a believer walks away from their faith and turns their back on God and then forms an alliance with a non believer and they create a child or two…if that was all done outside of the covering of Yahshua and those children were never dedicated to God and covered in the blood of Yahshua… see where I am going with that? I believe that is why there are so many non believers. I believe every word of the bible that Yahweh states. He stated not everyone would be called and some would be called and would not answer. I tried being a witch. I just could not pray to the other Gods. My Spirit became uneasy and I felt funny…and scared. I gave that practice up right quick, but I did learn all about it and it is not evil, it is just not for those of us who have been ‘Called”. I have been called. For me to read my horoscope or have a tarot card reading, visit with a psychic, do numerology or speak with a medium is to cause offense to my Father in heaven. As long as I am not celebrating or dedicating anything to other gods and saying that Christmas is Yahshua’s birthday, which it is not, I am okay with my Elohim. I may stumble here and there, for I am not Yahshua, I am one of the Saints though and loved and forgiven. Praise Yah! Amen
I pray that these writings of mine helps who ever Yahweh leads to this page as He intended. If you need clarification or want to reason together over something I have written…feel free to leave a comment or you may email me at WisteriaRain@gmail.com
Bible Verses I was inspired by:
1 Corinthians 11 (New International Version)
1Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.
Propriety in Worship
2I praise you for remembering me in everything and for holding to the teachings, just as I passed them on to you.
3Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. 4Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head. 5And every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head—it is just as though her head were shaved. 6If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off; and if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut or shaved off, she should cover her head. 7A man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man. 8For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; 9neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. 10For this reason, and because of the angels, the woman ought to have a sign of authority on her head.
11In the Lord, however, woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman. 12For as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes from God. 13Judge for yourselves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered? 14Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him, 15but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering. 16If anyone wants to be contentious about this, we have no other practice—nor do the churches of God.
1 Corinthians 14 (New International Version)
26What then shall we say, brothers? When you come together, everyone has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. All of these must be done for the strengthening of the church. 27If anyone speaks in a tongue, two—or at the most three—should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret. 28If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and God.
29Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said. 30And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop. 31For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged. 32The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets. 33For God is not a God of disorder but of peace.
As in all the congregations of the saints, 34women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. 35If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.
36Did the word of God originate with you? Or are you the only people it has reached? 37If anybody thinks he is a prophet or spiritually gifted, let him acknowledge that what I am writing to you is the Lord's command. 38If he ignores this, he himself will be ignored.[i]
39Therefore, my brothers, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues. 40But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way. I get it! Women should not interpret tongues when they are spoken in church! If a woman doesn’t understand she should ask her husband what was said. One of the other church men would have told him. Does not mean we are to be silent in church!
1 Timothy 2:9-20 (King James Version)
9In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
10But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
11Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
13For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
15Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
Timothy 3
1This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
2A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
3Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
4One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
5(For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
6Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
7Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
8Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;
9Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
10And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.
11Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.
12Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
13For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.
14These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly:
15But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
16And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Leviticus 19 (King James Version)
Leviticus 19
1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.
3Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the LORD your God.
4Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God.
5And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, ye shall offer it at your own will.
6It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire.
7And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is abominable; it shall not be accepted.
8Therefore every one that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing of the LORD: and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
9And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest.
10And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the LORD your God.
11Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.
12And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.
13Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.
14Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the LORD.
15Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.
16Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour; I am the LORD.
17Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
18Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.
19Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.
20And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free.
21And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, even a ram for a trespass offering.
22And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before the LORD for his sin which he hath done: and the sin which he hath done shall be forgiven him.
23And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of.
24But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise the LORD withal.
25And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am the LORD your God.
26Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.
27Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.
28Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.
29Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.
30Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.
31Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.
32Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD.
33And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.
34But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
35Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.
36Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.
37Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the LORD.
2 Corinthians 6:14 (New International Version)
Do Not Be Yoked With Unbelievers
14Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
Psalm 34:9 (New International Version)
9 Fear the LORD, you his saints,
for those who fear him lack nothing.
1 Corinthians 6:2 (King James Version)
2Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
Ephesians 1 (King James Version)
Ephesians 1
1Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:
2Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
7In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
8Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
9Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
10That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
11In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
12That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
15Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
16Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
17That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
